Adobe Illustrator is a vector drawing program. Vector graphics are a powerful thing—imagine that you can take your artwork that is the size of a postage stamp and enlarge it the size of a billboard and the graphics look as crisp and clear as they did at the smaller size. Amazing, right? Illustrator is a program full of different types of drawing tools, brushes and many illustration time-savers. Illustrator can be used for (but is not limited to) symbol design, illustrations, maps, logos, patterns, fashion design, product illustration, technical illustration, medical illustration and most any type of print design…the possibilities are endless!
Adobe Photoshop is a premier digital imaging software. This program provides tools that will let you edit and manipulate images as well as create realistic painting effects. Photoshop can be used for (but not limited to) image editing, manipulating images, digital paintings and web design.
Adobe InDesign is the perfect program for creating print layouts…and now InDesign is great for digital layouts as well. InDesign provides many tools that makes it easy to control the layout of your page, manage long documents, make changes and control the consistency of multi-page documents and so much more! InDesign can be used for (but is not limited to) flyers, brochures, catalogs, book layout, magazines, interactive documents, epub files for digital eReaders and tablets, any type of print design.
Adobe Dreamweaver is included with some of the Adobe Creative Suite packages and is primarily used for designing web sites via HTML and CSS and supports many of the web development server languages such as PHP and ASP. Dreamweaver is the industry-leading web design software and has both a visual and coding interfaces so designers and developers at all levels can use it.
Adobe After Effects is included with some of the Adobe Creative Suite packages and is primarily used for creating motion graphics and visual effects. This particular software is popular in the following fields: videography, graphic design, website design, animation, video production, art direction, filmmaking, broadcasting, multimedia direction, VFX and 3D animation.
Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe Premiere Pro is a rich, timeline-based, comprehensive video editing tool for beginners to professionals.
Yes, you’ll need a laptop with the software loaded—7-day trial subscriptions are available through Adobe. Both Mac or PC platforms are covered.
On the Home page, either click either the “Register for a Class” button or the specific software icon, or use the upper navigation bar Classroom Training to find the class you’re interested in—each class page will have more information on the software and upcoming class dates. Click on the date you’d like and you’ll be taken to a registration page where you can enter your payment information.
No, only that you know how to operate your computer.
As an Adobe training center, we are always updated on the latest in Adobe software and we will always be teaching the latest version. If you are using an older version, you would still benefit greatly from taking a class, but we highly recommend upgrading or downloading the free 7-day trial on the official Adobe website.

The maximum number of trainees in one class is four. Classes must register at least 2 people in order to run. We keep our classes small so each participant receives individual attention and can ask as many questions as they need to. We want you to get the most out of your Adobe training.

Many people that we talk to are afraid they are going to forget everything as soon as they leave the class. That is not true. One thing we recommend is to continue to use the software regularly…and don’t wait a month (or even a week) to use it again. But we are here for you too. You are given some great resources in the class that you can refer back to, and don’t forget post-class remote touch-ups with our staff are available at Visual Persuasion!
